Board Members

Ava (Aser Seifu) is a film producer and educator who graduated from film school in 2015. He is the founder and visionary behind this network, which began in July 2024, bringing together film and media professionals—brothers and sisters across Africa. He is passionate about networking and committed to building strong institutions and organizational structures for visual arts across the continent.

Dennis Onen is a board member of ACVMN and an award winning Ugandan filmmaker, producer, and educator committed to advancing storytelling in Africa. With a strong passion for both film production and training, he has dedicated his career to equipping emerging filmmakers with practical skills and creative vision, contributing to the growth of a vibrant and competitive film industry across the continent.

Dennis ONEN

Chim Onyebilanma is a visionary filmmaker and a distinguished member of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (the International Emmy) in New York. As the creative force behind CAP Studios in Durban, South Africa, he has garnered acclaim as the director of the award-winning feature film Treasure Hunt that had its theatrical release in South African cinemas in 2025. Matrid Nyagah is an award-winning filmmaker and servant of God, dedicated to making Jesus known through creative storytelling. She is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Fearless Films, known for projects like *Watu Wote* and *Softie*, and serves as a pastor and mentor, equipping creatives across Africa.

Brian Kelley is a producer and distributor working with international partners since 1990. He has worked on TV series, educational programs, documentaries and feature films in Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. In addition to this work he also is a songwriter and composer and serves on international boards involved in media production, training and mentoring

Amos – Founder, Aldaw Academy Amos is an educator and founder of Aldaw Academy in The Gambia, passionate about empowering individuals through practical learning and mentorship. He is dedicated to equipping the next generation with skills to make a positive impact.
